Ranveer Singh commented on Kohli’s photo with West Indies’ Vivian Richards

Currently, Ranveer Singh is in the cricketing mood 24x7 as his movie '83 is coming and on Virat Kohli's latest Instagram post, he couldn't resist himself commenting. Recently, Virat Kohli met former West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards in Florida and his excitement spilled onto Instagram with a photo captioned as - "With the biggest boss". Clearly, it is only Ranveer Singh who matched up to Virat's level of excitement. Ranveer wrote in the comments section - "Brilliant! Met some of the Windies legends... they speak so highly of you! Proud Indian". The Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli is currently in Guyana for the T20 International (T20I) series which is gonna take place against West Indies.


Earlier, Ranveer Singh has also had the opportunity of meeting the Windies legend. The Padmaavat actor has been in London for his upcoming film '83, which is about the story of India's historic win at the Cricket World Cup 1983. Ranveer is being casted as Kapil Dev, who has captained India to victory in the year 1983. Ranveer, when in London, filled up his Instagram with photos with not only Vivian Richards but also with the likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne.

Ranveer Singh, earlier in June, celebrated India's win against Pakistan during the Cricket World Cup 2019 with a heart-felt note for Virat Kohli and wrapped up saying the words - "We are proud of you, kaptaan". A video, wherein Ranveer Singh was hugging Virat Kohli in Manchester's Old Trafford Stadium, had also made rounds on the internet.

The Bollywood star, Ranveer Singh co-stars with Deepika Padukone in '83. It is being directed by Kabir Khan. The much awaited film is slated to hit the box office 10th April next year.
