Rajkummar Rao’s Debut At French Riviera Is A Silent Slap For Not Nominating Him In Filmfare

Rao in 2017, featured in five films- Trapped directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Bareilly Ki Barfi directed by Ashwini Iyer, Amit V Masukar's black comedy Newton along with Behen Hogi Teri and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aaana.

Well, he was lauded critically for his brilliant performance in first three films while also managed to earn well at box office. But, at Filmfare Rao not even nominated in the category of Best Actor. However, people Filmfare also.

To pay the damage Critic's Choice category was announced prior to the Filmfare Awards ceremony for the very first time in which Rao has nominated for Trapped and Newton both.
