Fans are eagerly waiting for the much-talked film 'Sanju' that is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. The film is based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. What makes the film special is the fact that it is directed by talented filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Till now, he has directed just 5 films in 15 years and all of them were a massive hit at the box office.
His films include:
1- Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)
2- Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)
3- 3 Idiots (2009)
4- PK (2014)
5- Sanju (2018)
In an Interview with India Today, the ace filmmaker revealed the reason as to why he made just 5 films in 15 long years. Hirani said, "I don't think we are lazy people. We actually work very hard those years. It takes time to write a script and properly make the film and edit it. Actually, we are working every day."
He further added, "Unfortunately, no one comes to me with a script also." He emphasised the fact that people don't come up with scripts and they themselves have to work on scripts right from the scratch which makes the process time-taking. He said, "Forget a script, no one even comes with an idea to us. Even if we get 50 per cent of an idea from somewhere, possibly we can make more films. I would love to make more films."
Sanju is all set to release tomorrow. The films stars Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, and Dia Mirza. The film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra who once said in an interview that he initially believed that it was a bad idea to make a biopic of Sanjay's life. However, it was when Hirani narrated the script, Chopra got convinced.
