Rajasthan Royals All-Rounder Rahul Tewatia Gets Engaged; Wishes Pour In From Cricket Fraternity & Fans

On Wednesday, Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Rahul Tewatia got engaged. Taking to his verified Instagram handle, the 27-year-old shared the sweet news with his fans and followers. He shared pictures alongside his fiancé.

In the picture, Rahul shared on his Instagram handle, we can see that the lovebirds are completely smitten by each other as they slip the ring in each other’s fingers. Speaking of their engagement outfits, Rahul chose to wear a maroon-coloured tuxedo while his fiancé opted for a baby pink-coloured lehenga.

The RR all-rounder also shared a romantic monochrome picture with his fiancé. In the picture, he is gazing at her with love while she shyly looks away. The picture is making the netizens gush and they are eager to know when the couple will get hitched.

Sharing the mushy pictures of his engagement, Rahul Tewatia wrote, “3.2.2021 (sic).” He accompanied this caption with a ring emoticon.

As soon as Rahul shared the pictures of his engagement ceremony on Instagram, fans smashed the like button and flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages.

Apart from fans, former and current cricketers also congratulated Rahul on his engagement. This includes former Team India cricketer, Suresh Raina, and KKR batsman Nitish Rana.

Commenting on the picture, Suresh Raina wrote, “Congratulations brother.”

For the unversed, Rahul Tewatia’s Rajasthan Royals’ teammate Jaydev Unadkat tied the knot in a private ceremony on Tuesday.

Speaking of Rahul Tewatia, he garnered a lot of attention and fame after his fiery innings in IPL 2020. The money-spinning tournament was staged in UAE because of the lockdown restrictions in India.

Apart from that, he was last seen playing during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Rahul was playing from the Haryana team who managed to reach the quarter-final of the tournament but were later outplayed by Baroda in the semi-finals. The SMAT was won by Tamil Nadu this year under the captaincy of wicket-keeping batsman Dinesh Kartik.

Up next, Rahul Tewatia will be seen in action in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) donning the RR jersey.
