Congress President Rahul Gandhi is on a 12-15 days tour to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Taking to his Twitter official Rahul posted the first video from the Yatra. Mount Kailash is believed to be the place where Hindu God Shiva resides.
In the first video, mountains and a rising sun in a panorama are shown. A leading daily, India Today TV came up with another video, Rahul at the campsite where he was seen interacting with some people who are also on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Rahul's first video was from September 6 morning where he was all set for a 34-kilometer trek to the mountaintop that's 18,562 feet above sea level.
Here's the Congress's chief tweet in which he wrote, "Shiva is the Universe".
Another tweet by Rahul shows some seaside landscapes in which he wrote, "The stunning beauty of lake Rakshas Tal.#KailashYatra".
Rahul took off to this Yatra on August 31. He took the decision of this pilgrimage after a mid-air scares away everyone in April that saw his aircraft sharply loses altitude. Sharing the news of the pilgrimage on Twitter, he wrote, "A man goes to Kailash when it calls him. I am so happy to have this opportunity and to be able to share what I see on this beautiful journey with all of you."
A few pictures from the same Rahul shared and wrote, "The waters of lake Mansarovar are so gentle, tranquil and calm. They give everything and lose nothing. Anyone can drink from them. There is no hatred here. This is why we worship these waters in India."
The routes have not been made public for security reasons and it is also not confirmed that when Rahul will be back.
Earlier than this, Rahul made a visit to Kerala where the rains spoiled everything and all over India, people are making efforts by making donations and NGOs sending help through their volunteers.
