The mangalsutra is a necklace that the groom ties around the neck of the bride during an Indian wedding. She also stated that a diamond ring that was gifted to her was also very much precious to her.
As per some reliable sources, the mangalsutra of Priyanka Chopra is a sleek one that has four uncut diamonds that forms a pendant. The center piece of the mangalsutra is indeed a huge tear-shaped diamond that really looks amazing. The normal mangalsutra in India usually has black and gold beads along with the chain, but Priyanka Chopra's mangalsutra has some beads placed next to the pendant and the remaining is the gold chain. Priyanka Chopra's mangalsutra was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Priyanka's wedding lehenga for the Hindu ceremony was also designed by Sabyasachi.
Priyanka Chopra's second most treasured possession is the diamond ring that was given to her by her father Ashok Chopra, who passed away in the year 2013 after fighting with cancer. The center piece of the ring consists of a 7 carat diamond and Priyanka said that when her father gave the ring, he said the person marrying Priyanka has to top the ring. And Priyanka's husband did it in style by topping it with a Tiffany & Co. diamond ring.
