Priyanka Chopra to Share Screen Space with Rajkummar Rao in Netflix Film

In the current era, people are enjoying to watch various TV shows, web series, and movies. On Netflix, we watch different shows featuring popular actors. In recent times, we got a piece of news that the Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to join the actor Rajkummar Rao for a Netflix film. It's the first time for the actress to share screen space with Rajkummar Rao for her upcoming film. 

As per the latest news, the name of the Netflix film is 'The White Tiger.' The main plot of this film is adapted from Aravind Adiga's prize-winning novel having the same name. This film features the debut actor Adarsh Gourav. Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao are the lead actors in this upcoming film. Ramin Bahrani is the director of this film.

According to the latest reports, the filmmakers are planning to surface the filming of this new project in India next year. The actress shared this news and opened up about the same. She said, 'I'm so excited to work with Ramin Bahrani and Netflix to bring Aravind Adiga's poignant story to cinematic life. As I read the book, I was fascinated with the perspective of the narrative.' 

She further added, 'The story's portrayal of raw ambition and the extent one will go to to achieve one's goals is riveting. I look forward to filming this in India this fall and also working along with Rajkummar for the first time and the wonderful cast Ramin is putting together.' 

On the other hand, the actor Rajkummar Rao also said, 'It's an exciting time for actors today and I'm thrilled to be a part of such a world-class project. I've been an admirer of Ramin's work and am excited to see 'The White Tiger' come to life.' Netflix is bankrolling this film jointly with Mukul Deora. Bahrani is the screenplay writer while Priyanka Chopra is the executive producer.

The story of The White Tiger shows the wonderful journey of a self-made man working as a tea-shop assistant in a village reaches to the position of a successful entrepreneur in a big city. The director is also excited to make this film.
