PM Modi talks about Shyam Rao Shirke who cooks using gas emitted from sewage

While everyone is waiting for Achhe Din and Vikas from the day BJP came into action but one thing for sure the BJP leader has given to us which is the Laughter and most of the time it came from our dear Narendra Modi. Recently, PM Modi explained in a World Biofuel Day event that how a chai vendor uses toxic gas emitted from sewage and literally his explanation is what we expect from only Modi. Here's what he said in his own words:

"Kisi chotte se nagar mein, naale ke paas, koi chai ka thela lekar ke khada rehtha tha aur chai banakar ke bechta tha. Ussne ek chote se bartan ko ulta karke, ched karke ek pipe daal di. Aur jo gutter se gas nikalta tha, woh pipeline se uske chai ke thele mein le liya. Aur woh chai banane ke liye ussi gas ka upyog karke chai banata tha."

His theory is making everyone laugh and everyone is demanding an explanation of his theory where no science and technology is applied according to him. So here's the story from the man himself, Modi was giving an example of.

After Modi's speech, in a leading daily's interview, Shyam Rao Shirke who is a mechanical contractor invented the production of bio-CNG from sewage sludge shared how his initiative became functional.

Shyam Rao said, "I collected water from drains and made mini 'collector' to collect water bubbles, used a drum to make a gas holder. When tested, the system was functional. I connected it to a gas stove and made tea."

For this invention, Chhattisgarh Science and Technology gave him money to take it to the next level. "In three days enough gas was collected. It was installed in a house where food was prepared for 4-5 months," the mechanical contractor said.

He added, "Scientists told me my paper has been sent to higher authorities. It had already been 2 years hence, I had forgotten about it. Yesterday I came to know Modi ji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) has mentioned my invention in his speech."

He also revealed how people called his invention a wastage and said, "People from Municipality threw away the equipment, saying it's a wastage. People from Science and Technology asked me to lodge FIR. I was disappointed so didn't do anything."

Rahul Gandhi Congress President also took a jibe at Modi's story of a tea seller making use of gas from a nearby drainage. He said, "Modi promised to give 2 crore jobs to youth, now, he says make pakoras... make 'gas from drainage."

Reacting on Congress President's remark, Shirke said, "Nallah emitting foul gases and the polluting environment is now being used for something like this and creating fuel. It's in the national interest. I didn't like what Rahul Gandhi ji said, never thought he's immature."

On August 10, Prime Minister Modi while addressing a World Biofuel Day event had spoken about the possibility of generating fuel from sewage gas. He told the story of a tea seller executing the process.
