PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi and other prominent leaders visit AIIMS to meet Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi today with complaints of respiratory tract infection and issues related to the kidney. The 93-year-old leader has been facing severe health issues for almost a decade now. He is currently under the supervision of Dr. Randeep Guleria who has served as a personal physician to the former PM for over three decades.

Earlier, the doctors referred to it as a routine check-up. However, Atal ji is still admitted for tonight.  Congress President Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the hospital to see him. The current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi too reached AIIMS to visit the former PM.

PM Modi talked to the doctors and the family members of Atal ji to inquire about the status of his health. He was at the hospital for about 50 minutes!

BJP president Amit Shah and health minister JP Nadda also paid a visit.

Rajnath Singh and LK Advani too arrived at AIIMS.

Union minister Dr Harsh Vardhan who also visited the hospital said that the leader is fine and there is nothing to worry about. The latest reports suggest that he is undergoing dialysis.
