Recently, a street sweeper from Bangkok has become an internet sensation after pictures of her carrying her pet dog on her back while working made rounds on the internet and on social media platfroms. Pictures of Thitirat Keowa-ram shows the woman doing her daily chores while her one year old Poodle-Shih Tzu, named Mazda, effortlessly hangs in a vest attached to her back.
Her boyfriend agreed under the condition that she brings it to work, she further added. The 28-year-old kept her promise and has been carrying the dog to work every day for over a year now. The dog, which weighs almost 10 kg, is not bothered by the passersby or by the traffic.
The concept, interestingly, of taking one’s pet to work has become quite a trend in Thailand, particularly in firms with irregular working hours, where a dog-friendly policy helps alleviate stress of employee.
If you also want to take your dog to your workplace, then there are a few things of which you should take care. First of all, you must make sure that your coworkers are on board with the idea and they don’t have any problem about your idea. Also, you should take care of your dog’s appearance. It sounds funny though, but your dog should be groomed as if it is going for a job interview. Another important tip is that your workspace should be dog proof that is the cables should be well settled because if your dog chews it, your boss is going to chew you as well.
