Know the person who’s going to decide the name of Anushka and Virat’s Princess

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma became proud parents to a baby girl on Monday (January 11) afternoon. Virat on Twitter released a statement that read: “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”

The Indian skipper had earlier left the India-Australia series midway on paternity leave to be present for the birth of his first child. He left Australia after the end of the first Test, which was played in Adelaide. In his absence, Ajinkya Rahane has taken over the leadership role. As per sources, Baba Anant Maharaj will name the new-born daughter of Virat and Anushka.

This isn't the first time that Maharaja Anant made some important decisions of Virat and Anushka's life. Both have given importance to Maharaja Anant and his views in the past as well whether it was related to their marriage's decision or purchasing a new house, they have done everything according to his suggestions. So this is also an important decision of their life which as per them should be decided by him only.

The couple had declared their to-be-parenthood with an image of Anushka's baby-bump on August 27 the previous year with a caption, ''And then we were three! Arriving Jan 2021." Kohli had come to the home after the Adelaide Test to be with Anushka for the birth of their first child after taking part in the ODI and T20I series. Now all fans are waiting for the name to be announced of the little princess.
