People remembers Swaraj’s tweet saying Indian Embassy will help on Mars too

Sushma Swaraj was a notable Indian politician and a Supreme Court lawyer. She served as the Minister of External Affairs of India in the first Narendra Modi government from 2014-2019, being a senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. After Indira Gandhi, she was the second woman to hold the office. She was elected seven times as a MP and three times as a MLA. In the year 1977 at the age of 25, Swaraj became the youngest cabinet minister of Haryana and in 1998, she has also served as the 5th Chief Minister of Delhi for a short tenure.

On Twitter, many people are replying to a tweet which was posted by former foreign affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. In the tweet of the year 2017, she had offered to help a person who claimed to be stuck on the Mars planet.

Swaraj had said tweeting that even if you are stuck on the Mars, Indian Embassy will help you. The tweet has close to 15 thousand retweets and 40 thousand likes till now.

Swaraj, one of the most admired politicians in India, brought a humane touch to the otherwise distant and officious Ministry of External Affairs but unfortunately, she is no more as on Tuesday night she flew to heaven.

Swaraj had gained a wonderful reputation by quickly reaching out to overseas Indians, who were in distress. Once, she responded to distress tweets at 3 AM and it became a benchmark of sorts for Indian embassies globally.

She was also considered one of the wittiest politicians who often gave befitting replies to tro**s. Here are some of the many instances where Swaraj won many hearts with her savage tweets:
