Priyanka Chopra’s memoir ‘Unfinished’ got rolled out earlier this week and it was penned by Priyanka during the lockdown period in 2020. In her memoir, she talked about her romantic kinships during her 20s and 30s. Without naming names, PeeCee shared that she'd ultimately feel like she'd misplaced herself towards the end of a relationship.
According to reports, she penned, “I’d get involved with a wonderful man and we’d have a lovely time, usually for a period of years. By the end of the relationship, though, I’d have lost myself somehow. I’d be exhausted, discouraged, and disappointed and I didn’t know how I’d gotten to such an unhappy place.”
She'd also disclosed that after one particular break-up, she was mostly shattered, as it happened at the time when the second term of her popular TV show, Quantico, started and she was still reeling from the passing away of her daddy, Ashok Chopra.
She wrote in her book, "When I wasn't feeling numb, I felt lonely, sad, and isolated. No one understood what was going on inside me, because I didn't tell anyone."
The actress added that she did not share all this with her mom, Dr Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka is now wedded to the love of her life, Nick Jonas. After a short-lived romance, they got married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in the year 2018. Nick in a recent video excerpt posted by Priyanka stated that he was mainly fascinated by reading about her 'early dating life'.
He said, "Some of the stuff about, to be totally real, your early dating life, and your high school crushes... We've spoken about it, but it's just funny to read it."
