Pakistan Banned Kareena Kapoor Khan And Sonam Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding Over Vulgar Dialogues

The forthcoming Bollywood film that is gonna release tomorrow on Indian screen is Veere Di Wedding having Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor in a story of four girls including Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

Well, the film is all set to release in India but on the other hand, Pakistan banned the movie over “vulgar dialogues and obscene scenes.”

Central Board of Film Censors's Chairman Danyal Gilani told the leading agency, “Members of the CBFC unanimously decided to not allow the film for public exhibition in the cinemas as its content flouts the Censorship of Film Code 1980.”

Back on Tuesday, the film was screened for the Central Board of Film Censors and as per the trade sources, the movie was deemed unfit for exhibition due to “vulgar dialogues and obscene scenes”. However, the Distribution Club also issued retractions of their application for the certification after witnessing the criticism from members of the board, the report further added.

Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi co-produced the film also feature Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. As this is the Bebo's first film post pregnancy everyone is so excited to see her on screen. While for Swara it is a separate zone and Shikha is making her come back too.

The film will release on June 1, 2018.
