As per latest reports, an orphan to whom Prince Harry met in Lesotho, Southern Africa, was amongst the first invitees to welcome him and his wifey Meghan after the regal marriage ceremonial on May 19.
The new Duke of Sussex turned best friends with Mutsu Potsane, just four years old at that time, whilst on a gap year in Lesotho, a non-coastal country surrounded by South Africa, in the year 2004.
Harry remained in touch with the boy over the years. At present, Mutsu Potsane is 18 and his given name is Relebohile.
In the year 2006, the prince, with Lesotho's Prince Seeiso, co-founded Sentebale, a charitable trust, which works to battle the spread of HIV.
The regal pair set up the organization in their respective moms' reminiscence, both of whom spent time in the realm working to battle HIV.
Lesotho boasts of the globe's second highest rate of HIV.
Approximately 200 delegates from different charities were amongst the 2,460 associates of the public invited to rejoice within the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19.
Amongst them was Sentebale. Its chairman Johnny Hornby stated that an 18-year-old Mutsu was in the midst of the first group to welcome the couple.
"He’s a bit shy now, but he’s doing really well," Johnny stated.
"He’s just finishing school."
"Congratulations to the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, from everyone at Sentebale. We were delighted that some of our Lesotho team were able to join in the very special celebrations in Windsor today!"
The two got introduced at the Mants’ase Children’s Home for orphans in close proximity to Mohale’s Hoek, outside Lesotho’s capital Maseru, over ten years back.
Harry paid a visit to the centre to assist kids with HIV and Aids and speedily connected with Mutsu. The prince again visited the orphanage in the year 2006.
The two got joined up another time during the year 2015 when Harry went to the authorized launching of a novel children's centre established by Sentebale.
As per the documentary, Harry scooped the then 15-year-old off the earth to hug him tight. They also discussed their initial meeting.
And on May 19, as the Duke of Sussex got pleasure from what was undoubtedly the baggiest day of his life, he witnessed Mutsu yet again.
