Nushrat Bharucha, Rajkummar Rao Reunite For ‘Chhalaang’ After A Gap Of 10 Years

Dibakar Banerjee's crazy movie 'Love S@x Aur Dhokha' hit the theaters 10 years back on this date and the actress Nushrat Bharucha, who donned a noteworthy character in the movie, feels great that she has worked in the movie.


Nushrat, who had showcased her talent in Bollywood films like 'Jai Santoshi Maa' (2006) and 'Kal Kisne Dekha' (2009) before bagging her major break in Dibakar's special offering, said: "'Love S@x Aur Dhoka' completed 10 years today... it's a nostalgic moment for me. I clearly remember how I faced the camera for the first time in that film. From then to now.. the journey has been amazing. The film played a big role in bringing me right here. It is one hell of the memorable rides.”

The same movie also marked the debut of talented star Rajkummar Rao in the Hindi film industry. The actor was seen in an interesting character in the flick. At present, both the super stars Rajkummar and Nushrat are ready to share screen space once again after a big gap of 10 years. The project in which the two will be seen together is 'Chhalaang'.

"It feels great to work with Raj again and that too after a decade. I share a very good relationship with him. I hope audience likes our performances in 'Chhalaang'," she added.


Nushrat is best recognized for donning noteworthy roles in films such as 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. In the past, she said, “'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'crossing the Rs 100-crore mark was a big thing… It meant that too many people have watched and liked the film… It really changed things for me. It put me on a path where I am more confident about what I am doing and what kind of films I have to do. It’s been a great journey. I thank to all the people who supported and helped make Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety a success.”
