Netfilx says they are evaluating options on credits of Sacred Games 2 after Phantom’s split up

Now the Production House, Phantom Films has broken up as director Anurag Kashyap, Neeraj Ghayawan, and Vikramaditya Motwane have separated their paths and it suggests they will not work together for further projects now. This also means that web series Sacred Games 2 will not go in their names. As per the latest reports, the senior management of Netflix had called for a meeting in LA after hearing about the dissolution of Phantom.

For a long time now, they have not worked on the same project. Earlier, Anurag and Vikramaditya didn't come together for interviews when Sacred Games was about to telecast online. While Anurag paired up with Sacred Games star Nawazuddin Siddique, Vikramaditya called it solo for the interviews and meet-ups with media. Everyone witnessed that they called it off [working together]. Moreover, after Vikas Bahl who is in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Anurag has all the right reasons for not working with him. The 4th partner of Phantom Madhu Mantena recently split up with his wife Masaba Gupta and he stopped coming to office ever since Masaba walked out on him and choose to stay with her mother Neena Gupta.

After all these issues, a leading web portal spoke to Netflix about their POA (plan of action) for Sacred Games 2. The leading daily sent them a mail which read along the lines, "Now that Phantom has been dissolved, please let us know who will direct Sacred Games 2, will you go with Anurag and Neeraj (as directors) and Motwane (as showrunner) as announced earlier. What are the new changes? Netflix promptly sent us a response, via its spokesperson, which suggested that they are debating on Anurag, Neeraj and Motwane now. The reply read: At this time, we are evaluating options on the path forward." This made us then ask: Is Sacred Games 2 going to happen? Netflix did not shy away from replying, saying: "This is all Netflix has to share at the moment."

So, all of the above is correct and validated after Netflix's confession.

Well, we wonder about Anurag Kashyap's state of mind who put such hard works in Sacred Games and this also raises questions on Sacred Games 2 existence.
