New rules and laws for Aadhaar Card leaving people confused, internet is making fun of it

The Supreme Court (SC) this Wednesday i.e. on 26th of September marked its final verdict on the constitutional validity of Aadhaar, due to which the commoners have become perplexed.

A five-judge bench,  which was headed by outgoing CJI Dipak Misra, upheld the constitutional validity of Aadhaar but barred Section 33(2) and Section 57 of the Aadhaar act of Govt.

They finally had reserved the verdict after hearing the petitions for over 38 days starting January 17 this year. They struck down the Section 57 of the Aadhaar Act that allows private entities to use Aadhaar for verification purpose.

Well, the statement was quite puzzling as it was given that, "The Supreme Court said benefits under the Aadhaar project should be in the nature of welfare schemes and it cannot be made compulsory for services such as bank accounts, mobile connections or school admissions. "

This was really baffling for the Netizens because as of now Aadhaar Card was a compulsory document in any of the fields be it admission in any of the institute, banks, or any official work but with the latest law issued by the Govt, everything has been changed.

People have become so confused and has given up some of the tweets as of now:

"Aadhaar empowers the marginalized section of the society and gives them an identity, Aadhaar is also different from other ID proofs as it can't be duplicated," Justice AK Sikri .

"It is better to be unique than being the best and Aadhaar is unique," he added.

"The arguments of the petitioners are very different. There is a fundamental difference between Aadhaar card and identity. Once the biometric information is stored, it remains in the database system lifelong," Justice Sikri explained.

Court announced the verdict on a number of pleas challenging the constitutional validity of Aadhaar and its enabling Act. The key arguments of the petitioners were that the Aadhaar scheme is unconstitutional and is in violation of the fundamental right to privacy and personal body autonomy.

Well, amidst all this, internet users couldn't stop themselves from taking a hilarious dig at this situation and here are some of the memes which will make you go LOL.

Now let's see how this new implementation will revolutionize the nation. Do comment your thoughts.
