The popular Bengali actresses Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan get mocked on the internet for posing at Parliament after winning the elections as Trinamool Congress MPs from West Bengal. On Monday, the Bengali actresses posted their pictures of their first day at Parliament. Soon, the Netizens reacted to their pictures for posing in front of Parliament.
They were taunted towards their dressing sense on their first day as Members of Parliament. It's not the first time for the actresses facing bitter experiences and comments from the public. When the party announced their names as Trinamool candidates, they have confronted a lot of criticism on the internet.
Recently, Mimi, the MP of Jadavpur Trinamool Congress added a new picture of her wearing a white shirt and jeans alongside a pair of sneakers on her official Instagram handle. Soon, her fans commented on the picture saying, 'this is not film shooting.'
One of the Instagram users wrote, 'Did you go there to do this drama? Please do not do this drama at the Parliament and shame Bengal.' On the other hand, Nusrat who is the MP from Basirhat also shared a similar picture on her Instagram account and faced a lot of criticism from the Netizens.
Soon, one of the Instagram users commented, ‘This is not a place for a photo shoot. This is a place where you should fight for the people's rights and legislate for the country. You don't belong here.’
Some other users have commented on the pictures posted by these two MPs at Parliament:
Shame on the people of Boshirhat for electing this woman who has made a joke of our Parliament
You can't do things for shit! Stop running behind money and step down. The only good thing you did in your life is Gaaner Opare. Otherwise, you are under average
Some others even commented on the knowledge of grammar that Nusrat had before adding a caption to her picture.
Mimi won the election against the veteran CPIM leader Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya.
