Netizens Go Gaga As Pictures From Newlywed Dia Mirza’s Mehendi Ceremony Go Viral On Social Media

On February 15, 2021, actress Dia Mirza tied the knot with her beau Vaibhav Rekhi. It was a small intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Only a few close friends and family were invited to witness the Holy matrimony. As soon as the news broke out, many of Dia’s fans showered her with blessings for her upcoming journey.

Dia Mirza’s wedding has been grabbing the headlines for various reasons. One of the reasons being that she and her now-husband chose to have a female priest perform their wedding rituals. Taking to her social media handle, the RHTDM actress even penned down a heartfelt note to the female priest named Sheela Atta. The actress called it her way of bridging the generation inequality gap.

Apart from having a female priest to conduct the rituals, Dia also opted for an eco-friendly way to celebrate her special day. She chose to zero waste and no plastic on her wedding day. The materials they used for the minimal décor were also natural and bio-degradable.

Dia also said no to the bidaai ceremony and kanyadaan ceremony on her wedding day. She conveyed it by putting forth a strong message that change begins by choice.

Now, the pictures from her mehendi ceremony are making rounds on various social media platforms. In the pictures, Dia is looking breathtaking and surely her fans can’t take their eyes off the bride-to-be.

For her mehendi ceremony, the actress opted to wear a yellow salwar suit. She accessorized it with big earrings and maang tika. Dia kept her makeup minimal and let her bridal glow do the work.

Speaking of Dia’s husband Vaibhav Rekhi, he is a Mumbai-based businessman. He stays in the posh area of Pali Hill. Dia and Vaibhav cleverly kept their relationship away from the public eye before getting hitched.

The netizens are gushing over the new IT couple of tinsel town and are sending them warm wishes for their future together.
