Mukesh Ambani Overtakes China’s Jack Ma In The Forbes List As The Richest Man In Asia

In a recent turn of events, the Chairperson of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, regained his top spot as Asia’s richest person. He is currently the richest person in India and also the wealthiest man in Asia. Mukesh Ambani is also ranked on the number 10 position on the global billionaires’ list.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani has dethroned China-based businessman Jack Ma as the richest man in Asia in the year 2020. The recently announced Forbes’ 35th annual list of the world’s billionaires is topped by Amazon CEO and Founder Jeff Bezos. He has claimed the top spot for the fourth year in a row.

Speaking of the person on the second spot, he is Elon Musk who is the founder of SpaceX. He also was the biggest gainer in terms of dollars.

Now coming to the second richest person in India, Gautam Adani is ranked 24th on Forbes’ global list of billionaires with a net worth of $50.5 billion. He is the Chairman of Adani Group.

Cyrus Poonawala, the chairperson of the Poonawala Group and founder of the Serum Institute of India, the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer, has been ranked 169th on the Forbes list. He has a net worth of $12.7 billion.

Third on the list of the richest people in India is the founder of HCL Technologies, Shiv Nadar. He is ranked 71st on the Forbes list, with a net worth of $23.5 billion.

Bernard Arnault, a French billionaire who has an empire of 70 brands including renowned Louis Vuitton and Sephora, has been ranked third on the list of richest people in the world with a net worth of $150 billion.

Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates have a record net worth of $124 billion. On the other hand, tech wizard Mark Zuckerberg has recorded a net worth of $97 billion on the list of the world’s richest people.
