Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia recently visited Badrinath and Kedarnath temples and offered prayers to the Lord. After visiting the temples, Mukesh wished for the welfare of the nation and listened carefully to the preaching from Bhagwat Gita.
The Billionaire Industrialist also donated a huge amount of Rs. 2 Crore to Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee [BKTC] in order to purchase Sandalwood and Saffron. We all know that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi visited the popular temple post the 7-phase Lok Sabha General Elections ended on 19th May 2019.
At the time of his visit to the temple, the temple committee authorities cordially welcomed the Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani. The authorities include BKTC Chief Executive Officer BD Singh Dharmadhikari. Ambani gave an assurance to the temple authorities that he would purchase land in order to get sandalwood from the forests of Tamil Nadu for the temple trust.
As per the reports, Mukesh is looking after the temple welfare project under the name of his father Dhirubhai Ambani. Every year, the temple will be opened to the public post 6 months of winter break on 10th May. It's not the first time for the temple authorities to receive such massive donation. In recent time, a Non-Resident Indian [NRI] donated two crowns and 3 gem-laden shields valued Rs. 1.25 Crore to the temple.
Earlier this month, PM Modi visited Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand and spend the whole night in a cave. Later, the PM told the reporters in the sacred place of Kedarnath that, 'I did not ask for anything. I don't believe in asking because God only wants us to give...all I want is 'Baba' Kedarnath bestows his blessings not just upon India but entire mankind.'
Modi thanked the Election Commission of India for permitting him to visit the temple for taking enough rest for about 2 days before the election result. In the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Narendra Modi won the elections for the second term with a mammoth majority through his BJP-led NDA.
