Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is back to work on ‘Mogul’, says he couldn’t sleep

Aamir was approached by Director Subhash Kapoor for the movie 'Mogul' last year and Aamir agreed to work on the movie as he really liked the script. But Aamir backed off from the movie when director Subhash had to face sexual abuse allegations at the time of #metoo campaign by a woman named Geetika Tyagi.

Last October, when he stepped away from the movie, he said,"we believe that this is an opportunity for the film industry to introspect and take concrete steps towards change. For far too long, women have faced the brunt of sexual exploitation. It has to stop.”

But now the actor is back to work with Kapoor as according to Aamir, 'he's clean until he is not proven guilty' before the law.  Aamir appeared in an interview on Monday and confirmed that he will be working in Mogul which is a biopic movie. As the name suggests, Mogul is the life story of mogul, Gulshan Kumar which will display the journey of his success as founder of T-series label and a producer. The producer of the film is T-series.

While confirming his return on the project, Aamir said,"Today I feel differently. I’m going with my heart. Perhaps some people will be critical of my decision. But I have to live with my own conscience,”. He further added, “I couldn’t sleep at night because I used to constantly feel that my actions have inadvertently caused a person, about whose guilt I have absolutely no idea, to lose his right to work and earn a livelihood,”

Well, we are waiting for the movie eagerly as it's been a long time since we have seen Aamir on big screen and who would want to miss a biopic of everyone's favourite Gulshan Kumar.
