It Would Be Mouni Roy Vs Mouni Roy Face-Off With Her 2 Films Clashing On Next Independence Day

Mouni Roy seems to be the next big thing in Bollywood. The actress rose to fame with TV daily Soap Naagin. she grabbed her first bOllywood project titled Gold alonside Akshay Kumar. The film was praised by fans and critics and earned well at the box office. Even before the release of her first film, she grabbed not one, not two, but three films along side leading stars of Bollywood.

She will be next seen in Brahmastra also starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is based on Amish Tripathi's Shiva trilogy. The film is slated for 15 August 2019 release. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar.

She will also be seen alongside Rajkumar Rao and Boman Irani in Made In China . Rajkumar Rao made the announcement that the film will release on 15 August next year. He wrote on Twitter, "A new beginning. #MadeInChina starts filming today.  Mark the date, releases on 15th August, 2019!"

Well, this means that it would be Mouni Roy vs Mouni Roy face-off next Independence day.

Talking about working with Rajkumar Rao, Mouni earlier said in a statement, “I think he is a tremendous actor and I have always looked up to his work. I can't wait to start working with him. I am even more ecstatic to be a part of Maddock Films."

She will also be seen opposite John Abraham in the film RAW.

There were reports emerging that Salman Khan is behind Mouni's entry in Bollywood. To which, Mouni had said in an interview, "Salman Khan has had no role to play in my Bollywood debut. I don't know how these reports emerged and I wonder why anybody would do that for me. Is it so unbelievable that after acting for 10 years and being a Bengali, I can't land a Bengali character's role by myself? It is hurtful."
