Kulfi kumar Baajewala actor Mohit Malik: My competition is with myself

After a break of almost two years, the Doli Armaano ki actor is back on television with the show "Kulfi kumar Baajewala". He will be seen in a different avatar. The show was initially not working well but now it is being liked by the audience. It has been ranked number one in BARC charts. The audience is liking the performance of the main leads Mohit and Aakriti Sharma.

Known for being "choosy" for his roles Mohit says, "It is very frustrating but as an actor you need to have patience....This I have understood very well in my career. We can say that we want this and that, but it becomes difficult to strive and to live in city like Mumbai".

Mohit has a supportive wife actress Addite Shirwaikar who is currently running two cafes in Oshiwara.

In "Kulfi Kumar Baajewala" the actor is playing the role of an emotionally troubled rockstar, Sikander Singh Gill. When asked in an interview about being choosy for his roles Mohit said, "I am a very choosy actor. I live with a role and character. I did not want to take up anything where I get bored and start compromising on my craft."

Speaking about competition Mohit made it clear that he never get bothered about what others are doing. His competition is with himself.

The actor was doing acting workshops with his guru Atul Mongia and is also practicing Riyaaz so that he can sing in his own voice for the show. Mohit also told that playing a father on screen is not that tough. Also, his character in the serial is of a father who does not live with his kids. In real life, Mohit wishes to be a father of a baby girl. He is dying to do scenes where he meets Kulfi and their bond starts building.
