Mika Singh shouts Bharat Mata ki Jai at Wagah Border, netizens say ‘Damage already done’ .

Mika Singh has received immense backlash from netizens for his recent performance in Pakistan. And now the singer has shared a video of him coming back to India and chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai on the Wagah Border.

 

Two days after Mika Singh was banned by All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) after his performance at a wedding in Pakistan, the vocalist came back to India shouting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. Mika Singh took to Twitter to show his Desh bhakti as he shared a video of him shouting 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' at Wagah Border.

 

Posting the video, he stated, "Bharat Mata ki Jai! Much obliged to you everybody for such a warm welcome. Happy Independence Day and salute to our jawans. They aren't able to celebrate any festival, all to make our lives. Jai Hind."

Mika Singh was in the headlines after a video of him performing live at the wedding celebrations of Pervez Musharraf's relative in Karachi circulated around the web a couple of days prior. The artist got a ton of backlash via social media for his gig in Pakistan, particularly when strain between the two nations is at its pinnacle as a result of the abrogation of Article 370.

 

On August 13, AICWA revealed that they have put a blanket ban on Mika Singh. AICWA President Suresh Gupta included that he will ensure that Mika Singh doesn't get the chance to work with anybody in India as he has "put money over the country."

 

As per reports, the vocalist received USD 150,000 (Rs 1 crore) for his performance at the wedding.

When the video of Mika performing in Pakistan turned into a web sensation, he welcomed the fierceness of numerous netizens on social media.
