Sudeeksha Bhati, A Tea Seller’s Daughter Gets 100% Scholarship In The Top US College

Luck factor plays a major role in getting success in one’s life. However, we need to be patient and wait for the right moment.

Something unexpected happened in this middle-class family and this has left them with tears of joy.

Sudeeksha Bhati is the first highly graduated person from her family and she has definitely made them proud.

Sudeeksha’s father is a tea seller and has just annual earnings of Rs. 72,000. Her father never knew that one day their lives will take a huge turn and everything will change forever.

The talented girl scored an excellent 98% in her CBSE Board Examinations and has topped her district. Not just this, she is now heading to the US for her further studies.

Babson College – one of the Top colleges in USA are providing a full scholarship of 70,428 USD per semester which is approximately a whopping Rs 3.83 crores for the 4 year undergraduate program.

Babson College is best institutes for entrepreneurship. She has set some serious goals in her life and her community looks proudly at her. Sudeeksha is associated with the Voice of Women initiative wherein she encourages the other families to send their daughters to school and also to fight eve teasing and other social problems.

Sudeeksha Bhati shared her success story and it is truly inspiring.

Expressing her feelings about her great achievement, Sudeeksha said, “I am happy that I could achieve my dream of studying in the United States. The realization that hard work pays off has further motivated me to be focused and aim higher. I am happy that my achievement is today a source of happiness for my family and my school. I am positive and hopeful that I will continue to work hard and accomplish my dreams and make my family and school proud of me.”

Talking about how her family reacted when they heard about this, she said, “My family was really relieved that I was able to achieve my dreams. Though my father was little apprehensive to send me to a different world altogether, my mother was simply satisfied that her prayers had been answered. Everyone has high expectations from me that I will give a new direction to my family. I have a great responsibility to set a path for my siblings and cousins as I am the eldest. They are proud of me and consider my views and opinions important. I hope to meet all their expectations and provide opportunities for my younger siblings to excel.”

Revealing about how she got the scholarship and about the procedure, she said, “US colleges evaluate an application holistically; they look for academic excellence, leadership roles, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, English proficiency and standardised tests. Admission committee read a set of essays demonstrating your intellect and persona.”

Lastly, when she was asked to whom she would dedicate her success to, she said, “Thank you so much. I have many people to thank for their constant support and guidance. I would like to attribute my success to my teachers at VidyaGyan. I had the full support of my family and school. I am alsso thankful for all my teachers who had faith in me and taught me not just the defined syllabus but also critical life-skills.”
