Malala Yousafzai Quickens SRK’s Process Of Delivering Speech At Oxford University

Shah Rukh Khan is known not only for being one of the best actors of India but also for his witty and intelligent remarks. The actor even was invited by Oxford University to deliver a speech last year. The actor himself had revealed that he has been invited to give a speech at the Oxford University, "I love to talk. Whenever someone invites me to deliver a speech, I always consider it an opportunity. I have been to Yale earlier (in 2012) and now, I have received an invitation from Oxford. I'll go if I have the time and if it fits into my scheme of things."

So, Alan Rusbridger, the Principal of the institution had extended the invitation through Twitter. He posted on Twitter: "can we tempt to Oxford University to talk to our students at @lmhoxford? They love you (I'm the principal)"

However, since then no more news in the row came. But, today Malala Yousafzai's comment made the actor quick the process of appearing at Oxford.

In November 2016, the actor received the invite from Oxford. On writing speeches for the actor, he said, "I don't like anyone writing for me. It takes time for me to sit down and write, given my schedule, but it has to be done by me. I am yet to zero in on a subject for this talk."

On the professional front, the actor's upcoming film is Aanand L Rai's Zero. “The story needed Shah Rukh Khan and that’s why he is there. It’s not that ‘now let me work with Shah Rukh Khan’, that was not the decision. I needed somebody as strong as him to come onboard because you need to be a very self-assured actor to play this role. To let go those two feet is not easy. But then you have to be very sure about yourself and Shah Rukh Khan is very sure about himself,” the director talked about selecting Shah Rukh Khan for the role.

Talking about SRK, the director said, “I am fascinated to see how a man with 25 years of a career, with so much success, fame, so many blockbusters, can still can have childlike energy. He did not burn out. He is the most obedient actor I have seen ever in my life. His energy on set is like a young boy doing his first film. I want to say that he is the best newcomer a director will get on the set… In fact, that is something I am trying to learn from him.”

The actor is playing the role of a vertically challenged man, about it, he had earlier tweeted, “A film never finishes…but so many beautiful things come to an end around it. Thanks everyone for a very fruitful & hectic shoot. #ZeroTheFilm.”
