Mahadev Fame Mohit Raina To Play IPS Officer Navniet Sekera In His Biopic

Reportedly, TV's popular actor Mohit Raina has been roped in to play the role of an IPS officer in a web-series based show. A production house named Applause Entertainment is planning to make a biopic on IPS officer Navniet Sekera. The officer is the real-life Singham and is pretty popular in the northern belt of the country, especially Uttar Pradesh. It is a web-series helmed by Applause entertainment which is in the making process since a long time now. However, after loads of hunting, makers were not able to find a suitable face. But finally, they zeroed down Mohit for playing the lead role.

Mohit Raina rose to fame with Life OK's show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. However, his last show 21 Sarfarosh validated the powerhouse of talent that he is. Mohit recevied a lot of appreciation for the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the historical series. The makers of this web series had seen Mohit stellar performance and they convinced him that no one else could pull of Sekera's character better than Raina. A source close to the show revealed that Raina has been finalized. Also, the makers are pretty excited to collaborate with him. The other cast members of the project would be finalized soon.

For those who are unaware, Navniet Sekera is a UP-based IPS officer who is also known as real life Singham. With almost 60 executions to his credits, he is known as the execution specialists of the state.

When a leading web portal tried to get in contact with Mohit he said that it's too early to talk right now, so he won't be able to say anything.
