Maha govt sanctions Mumbai-Pune hyperloop project; helps travelers reach destination in a few mins

If you are a frequent traveler between Mumbai and Pune, then here is a good news for you. In the coming years, you will be able to travel between these two cities in just few minutes. The Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop project is something that makes your commuting easier and faster.

As per the reports, once the Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop project is implemented, you can travel between these two cities in Maharashtra within 23 minutes.

The Maharashtra state government has given the infrastructure status to the Mumbai-Pune ultra-fast Hyperloop transport project and a statement from the office of the Chief Minister has said that the state Cabinet has also approved the same. The State Cabinet has allowed the formation of Hyperloop Technologies and DP World FZE so as to make the life of the people more easy and comfortable.

The Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop project is a ultra-modern, super-fast transport system which is aimed to link the two cities such as Mumbai and Pune that are located 200 kilometers apart. The Hyperloop trai will run from BKC in Mumbai to Wakad in Pune, which will cover around 117.5 kilometers at a speed of 496 kilometer per hour. As per the reports, with this speed the train will be travelling between the two cities in just 23 minutes. If you are travelling by a normal train, it will take around 4 hours to reach from Mumbai to Pune.

The project is estimated to have an expense of Rs 70,000 crore and will take almost seven years to be completed. The hyperloop project will also ease the congestion that are seen in the expressway and will also reduce the number of road accidents and greenhouse gas emissions. After all the Mumbai-Pune hyperloop project will be a major milestone that can be a role model for other major states in the country.
