Our Low-Key Wedding Was An Invitation For A Lot Of Judgment, Says Neha Dhupia

In a new video recording, actress Neha Dhupia recalled the days when she was about to marry Angad Bedi, the story about her wedding with her love and how their wedding was different from the rule.

The ace TV host stated that they had a low-key wedding at a Gurdwara Sahib. This thing gives an invitation to loads of judgment from people’s side.

Angad and Neha tied the nuptial knot on May 10, 2018, in an Anand Karaj ritual that took place at a Delhi-based Gurdwara Sahib. Their hush-hush marriage was attended by just a few close family members and their best friends.

She stated, “People normally date for a long time before getting married, right? But in my case, it was very different. Angad and I were just friends and I didn't expect him to propose so spontaneously. Ek din woh mere ghar aaya and he asked my parents if he could marry me. My parents were like, you do you and we are here to support you.”

Neha added up that her marriage gave a special invitation to a lot of commentaries from people. “We had a low-key wedding two days later and that was an invitation for a lot of judgment. Some of the comments include, ‘Ye kaisi shaadi hai,’ ‘chupke se shaadi ho gayi’, 'Ladki ne laxe shaadi ki na (Oh, the girl got married so latx)?' 'Achcha, ladka chhota hai ladki se (Oh, the man is younger than the woman)?'”

On their second marriage anniversary in the year 2020, Neha came LIVE with her hubby Angad on Instagram and asked him to tell about the ‘scariest part’ of tying the nuptial knot to her was and what was he experienced when he was taking the pheras.

“Honey, when I decided that I should be married to you and you should be my wife, there was nothing scary at all. In fact, I enjoyed our lovely, small wedding. I was very happy, even when I was taking that last phera, because I was getting married to the love of my life,” was his sweet reply.
