BJP president Amit Shah is known as the man behind making strategies and campaigns for the party. He went to Mumbai for such a campaign entitled as 'Samarthan'. Amit Shah was supposed to meet Lata Mangeshkar, Madhuri Dixit and Ratan Tata. But due to Lata Mangeshkar's health issues he couldn't meet her.
Lata Mangeshkar who is also known for her loyalty towards Shivsena chief 'Raj Thackeray' couldn't meet Amit Shah as she suffered from food poisoning. She also wrote on Twitter "Aaj BJP ki adhyaksha mananeey @AmitShah ji se meri mulaqaat honewali thi parantu mujhe food poisoning hone ki wajah se maine unse telephone pe baat karke milne mein asamarthta vyakt ki aur agli baar jab bhi wo Mumbai aayenge tab unse milne ka nivedan kiya."
Meanwhile, Amit Shah met Madhuri Dixit and Ratan Tata as part of his 'Sampark for Samarthan campaign'. Speculations of Madhuri Dixit becoming a member of the party are also fueling on the internet. But no clarification has been made by any party member or the actress herself. A picture of Madhuri Dixit and husband Sriram Nene with the dignitaries from Madhuri's house is viral on social media. Chief Minister of Maharashtra 'Devendra Fadnavis' was also present with them.
With renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, the meeting of Amit Shah was strictly based on business according to the sources.
As a part of this campaign Amit Shah also met sportsperson Kapil Dev in Delhi.
The campaign 'Sampark for Samarthan' targets 4000 chief ministers, union ministers and panchayat leaders from all over the country to connect with about one lakh people who have made a significant achievement in their field of work to tell them the government's achievements. Amit Shah is personally contacting about 50 people who have done great in their respective work areas.
