Kushal Tandon tweets about Indian’s views on Priyanka Chopra’s engagement to Nick Jonas

Ever since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged, the couple has become the talk of the town. Everyone is still finding it difficult to believe that our desi girl has found love is a videshi. Many men's hearts have been broken and they are probably finding solace is something else now.

But people cannot be calm and quiet as there are some fools who will not be satisfied or happy with anything people do. And here also when PeeCee and Nick got engaged, there are some people who will never be happy and will always express their disgrace.

There were some people who raised many issues and on the major ones was the age-gap between the couple. Priyanka is a decade older than Nick but their chemistry is cute.

TV hunk Kushal Tandon, who like many people is also a huge fan of Priyanka. He took to Twitter to write about how people were still uncomfortable with strong and independent women.

He tweeted:

People trolling Priyanka just makes one thing clear, yea we get it , we get it , we Indians can't stand strong independent women, especially the ones that break the stereotypes. More power to you PC!

Have a look at his tweet:

This is not the first time, he has spoken up against trolling. He also spoke for Hina Khan when she got trolled for the RO Water Controversy in Bigg Boss 11. He also stood up for his former girlfriend Gauahar Khan.

It is very good to see celebs like him openly support the personal choices of women.

Priyanka and Nick met first at the Met Gala of 2017 where they walked for Ralph Lauren. However, the fact that they were a couple only came to the fore a couple of months back with pictures of Priyanka chilling with Nick’s friends on a yacht and later attending his cousin’s wedding. Buzz is that they will get married within a month. The engagement party was attended by Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to name a few.
