As a goalkeeper, you need some genuine ability to have the capacity to defeat two of the best players on the planet, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Lionel and Cristiano’s moves are so delusive and so quick that within seconds, the ball is already dancing inside the goalpost.
Iceland's goalkeeper Hannes Thór Halldórsson has done a great job for his country keeping this in mind.
For all those who are not aware about this, Hannes Thór has been in the news for stopping Lionel Messi's game-deciding penalty kick in the group match between Iceland and Argentina in the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Messi is joined by biggest contemporary and football sensation Ronaldo after the missing this penalty that has baffled them. Iceland’s keeper Hannes Thór Halldórsson has been giving a tough time to these players.
Journalist Ryan O' Hanlon recently took to Twitter where he cleared that even Ronaldo was unable to score against Iceland during the Euro 2016, thanks to the goalkeeper.

So folks, what is so special about Halldórsson?
Halldórsson is an aspiring footballer who never got a proper coaching and training for this game. He would play both striker and a goalkeeper when he used to go to the field every day. Amidst all this he also developed his liking for direction.
Halldorsson had to face a tough time when he reached 20s as he was rejected by a local third division team.
He then found film direction as a good and a profitable option and decided to quit football forever.
But it seems Halldorsson’s career was meant to be in football and during one of his conversations with his father, he was advised not to give up his passion and pursue other career option.
Lionel Messi, 'the star' was standing against a filmmaker-turned-footballer, and at that point if you would have asked me to bet all my life savings on Messi, I would have. The goal was denied by Halldórsson, who I think will only fully realize the implications of his save, much later.
It will be surprising to know that Halldorsson has a mention in IMDB as well as FIFA World Cup’s official website.

Halldorsson has also directed the new World Cup themed Coca-Cola advertisement, and has given an artistic twist to Iceland's iconic Skol chant.
Halldorsson is truly an inspiration to many as he never stopped dreaming and made his career in the field he wanted!
