KJo and Ranveer Singh indeed knew the answer to the Rs 1 Crore question asked on KBC

The popular television show Kaun Banega Crorepati has so far garnered a huge fan following due to the Bollywood fraternity.

Karan Johar is one such notable fan of this popular show and last night, Karan Johar was indeed watching it and guessing the answers of the questions like anyone else.

The film maker Karan Johar also revealed that he indeed knew the answer to the Rs 1 crore question that was asked on this big show.


Himanshu Dhuria, a 19 year old trainee pilot from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh, was on the hot seat opposite to the host Amitabh Bachchan and really combated it out for Rs 1 crore on Monday. By doing this, Himanshu Dhuria became the second contestant of the show's current season to attempt for the Rs 1 crore question.

The excitement during the show was very much high, but no one had the idea about the right answer. Even Himanshu Dhuria quit the show after crediting Rs 50 lakh into his account. After that, film maker Karan Johan tweeted that he indeed knew the answer for the same and also said that Ranveer Singh also knew it. The Rs 1 crore question that was asked in the show relates to his upcoming movie Takht, in which Ranveer Singh does the lead role.


The movie Takht is a period drama that is set in the Mughal Era which depicts the story of two warring brothers. In the movie, there will also be stars such as Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is based on the story of two brothers Dara and Aurangzed. Karan Johar said that it is a movie that he always wished to make and it was writer Sumit Roy which came with a good script for the movie.
