The outcome of Karnataka Assembly polls in 2018 showed dramatic results with no party bagging the majority of seats.
Even after budding as the single major party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with maximum seats as compared to Congress or Janata Dal-Secular, failed to get the majority seats.
And mulling over the ruling party's negotiation talents with provincial strongholds when they don't confirm majority, it is obviously going to be tiring for a few major decision makers in the Bharatiya Janata Party. And making the most of the highlight in Karnataka politics is Kerala's Tourism section.
Kerala's tourism made a special tweet to an invitation from the newly chosen legislators to "relax" at "secure and stunning resorts in Kerala".
Kerala Tourism's tweet read, "After the rough and tumble of the #KarnatakaVerdict, we invite all the MLAs to unwind at the safe & beautiful resorts of God's Own Country."
And this gives the proof how VK Sasiskala allow 120 Tamil Nadu politicians enjoyed some fun-filled days at a resort near Chennai to put themselves off from joining her adversary O Panneerselvam.
Returning to present politics in resorts, the tweet was deleted later in the evening. Most Twitterati who loved the reference lauded Kerala Tourism for their creative social media team.
And resorting to hotels after poll outcomes are not new to Karnataka. In the year 2016, the Congress party in Karnataka had beforehand taken independent MLA applicants to a hotel in the city of Mumbai to defend them from the BJP prior to the Rajya Sabha elections.
Whilst the Kerala State Tourism section is a branch of the administration, it is chiefly considered a self-governing body. It was grown mostly in the recent times and registered proceeds of Rs 24,000 crore in 2013-14.
Shah Faesal, who was later shifted to the Department of Tourism as Secretary, requested the MLAs that they visit Gurez valley of Kashmir.
“Newly elected MLA's of Karnataka are welcome to Gurez Valley, a landlocked, lush-green resort in Kashmir. Temperature 10°C. Only one entry and exit road. Mobile connectivity moderate. A great deal of spring to enjoy!!,” said Faesal in his tweet.
Ex-CM Omar Abdullah also tweeted, “Right now I wish I owned a resort around Bangalore somewhere.”
