KBC 11: The one crore question to Charna Gupta had an incorrect option

The episode of KBC 11 which was aired on Monday, finally witnessed a contestant reaching the huge Rs 1 crore question. But, do you know, one of the options was incorrect?


Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, which is hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, has been getting numerous eyeballs as far back as it debuted on the small screen. On Monday, the show for the very first time observed a contender arriving at the subsequent last question for Rs 1 crore. Charna Gupta, a labour inspector from Madhya Pradesh, quit the show before addressing the question.

Charna had officially utilized all her lifelines and decided not to attempt it, so as to not lose her current value cash of Rs 50 lakh. The question read out by Amitabh was, ''In 1944, the Battle of Kanglatongbi was fought near which present-day Indian state capital?'' But, the producers of the show made a major bumble as they gave wrong choices. The options included - Imphal, Itanagar, Guwahati, and Kohima.

The producers gave Guwahati as one of the four alternatives to the posed question, but it's not capital. Assam's capital is Dispur and not Guwahati and resembles the creators got confounded. The correct response for the question was Imphal which is the capital of Manipur. Charna got the Rs 50 lakh cheque from the megastar have who repeated stated, ''Well played!''


KBC 11 opened to a great deal of affection and gratitude from fans. The last season of the show appreciated high television ratings and the finale episode got most noteworthy appraisals just as overpowering reaction from the group of spectators.
