Katrina Kaif Is All Set To Replace Priyanka Chopra In Salman Khan’s Bharat

The sudden exit of Priyanka Chopra from the much-awaited Bollywood comeback Bharat shocked everyone. Director Ali Abbas Zafar made an official announcement about PeeCee’s exit on his Twitter handle and also wished her good luck.

Well, the Desi girl opted out of the project at the last moment due to her wedding plans with American beau Nick Jonas which is all set to take place in October.

Ali in his next tweet also revealed that they will finalise the female lead soon. He tweeted, “Yes yes yes … we will announce the leading lady of Bharat soon.. We have been shooting Non stop and the simultaneously preparing for international schedules.”

Well, since there are a lot of speculations about which actress will replace Priyanka Chopra? There was a strong buzz about Salman Khan’s favourite Katrina Kaif might replace Piggy Chops.

And now, Ali confirmed the news to a leading web portal and said, “I am extremely excited to work with Katrina and Salman again. We have had exciting collaborations in the past. Katrina got on board in the ‘Nick’ of time for this project.”

Salman and Katrina’s pair has always worked wonders at the box-office and we are sure this time too it will be a delight to see them together.

Katrina and Ali have previously worked in films like Tiger Zinda Hai and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The actor-director share a great bond. The viewers too would be happy to see the Tiger Zinda Hai Trio back together.

Talking about Bharat, the film also stars Disha Patani and Sunil Grover who will be seen playing important roles.

Bharat is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father. The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man.

As far as Salman and Katrina’s looks are concerned, they will be sporting 5 different looks in the film, which will showcase their journey from 18 to 60.
