Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's loving daughter Samaira has featured in a short movie 'Daud'. The said short flick is helmed by Ananya Panday's younger sister Rysa Panday. The seven-and-a-half minute long short movie features Sanjay Kapoor's son Jahaan. In the flick, Samaira dons a supporting character of a friend.
Samaira’s mom Karisma also shared the film’s link in Instagram story. "Please like, share and subscribe," Karisma penned. Daud, which is accessible on the most popular social networking channel YouTube, centers on the story of a young girl from the slum areas of Mumbai.
In Daud, Samaira dons the supporting character of a friend. The girl sells pencils to support her mother but dreams about becoming a sprinter. She is helped by three young students (Samaira, Jahaan and Dhaniti Parekh) from wealthy families. They purchase her shoes and inspire her to live her dream.
Daud is not the first movie Samaira has worked in. In the year 2015, when Samaira was 10, she helmed a short movie in which she acted too. The movie was screened at the International Children’s Film Festival of India in the Little directors' group during the same year.
