The IT couple of B-Town, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be embracing parenthood for the second time. The lovebirds already are parents to a 4-year-old Taimur Ali Khan. Their little munchkin at this very young age enjoys a massive fan following. He is a paparazzi favourite as all and always makes it into the headlines.
Being Kareena Kapoor Khan’s only child, the little Tim Tim gets all of his mommy’s love and attention. However, this won’t be the case in the coming few days. Soon, the actress is going to be a mom of two children and she will have to give proper care and attention to her newborn.
The sources state that to not let Taimur feel left out because of his younger sibling, the family is taking efforts to make him aware of what is to expect when the baby arrives.
In an interaction with BollywoodLife, a source said, “Taimur is very small now and at this stage, kids are very possessive about their parents and want all their love to themselves.”
However, the mommy-to-be is spending time with her elder child to ensure that he doesn’t feel otherwise when she gives birth to her second child. The source added, “Kareena has been making every effort necessary to ensure Taimur is aware of the arrival of his new sibling and is having conversations with him about the baby every day, explaining to him that a little friend is on the way to give him company for life.”
The source also mentioned that the actress is arranging playdates for Taimur and his cousin sister Inaaya Kemmu.
For those who don’t know, Inaaya Kemmu is the daughter of Saif’s sister, actress Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Kemmu.
The 40-year-old actress knows that Tim Tim will be needing more company, as she will get busy with the newborn.
Saif Ali Khan who is on paternity leave and Kareena’s elder sister Karisma Kapoor will be around Taimur to smoothen the transition phase.
Taimur Ali Khan is Kareena and Saif’s first child together. The little munchkin was born on December 20, 2020. It was in August 2020 that Kareena announced her second pregnancy on social media.
