Karan Johar Wishes Akshay Kumar On His Birthday And Gives The First Glimpse Of 2.0

2.0 is one of the most anticipated films of the year 2018 and the film has already created a lot of buzz even before its release. The makers had unveiled some of the looks from the film earlier. A few days back, the makers of 2.0 revealed the teaser release date of the film which made the die-hard fans of this film extremely excited.

Akshay Kumar is going to be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the film where he plays the role of Dr. Richard, an antagonist. This itself has made his fans curious to see him on the big screen soon. A few looks of Akshay were released earlier and today as it is Akshay's birthday, 2.0's producer Karan Johar decided to treat his fans by giving a sneak peek into Akshay's first look.

KJo took to Twitter to share the first look and captioned it, "In 4 days, gets the first glimpse of one of the biggest combats on screen! Happy birthday @akshaykumar, wish you a life full of blockbuster performances ahead! #2point0 @shankarshanmugh @rajinikanth @arrahman @LycaProductions @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18."

Akshay's look is scary enough to give you chills and we are sure his role is going to be a major highlight of the movie. The actor is unrecognizable with the kind of look that is achieved with the help of make-up and VFX.

For the first time, two of the greatest actors of the film world Akshay and megastar Rajinikanth are set to share the screen space. This itself gives us one reason to watch the film. The makers chose the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi to unveil the teaser.

The film is reported to be one most expensive Indian movies ever. Directed by Shankar, the film is all set to hit the silver screens in November this year. Not just this, but 2.0 will also mark Akshay Kumar's debut in Tamil films. Amy Jackson will be seen playing the leading lady in 2.0. The duo has previously shared screen space in Singh Is Bling.

2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 release Enthiran which has Rajinikanth playing dual roles, scientist Vasikaran, and robot Chitti. The music of 2.0 is composed by AR Rahman.
