Kangana Ranaut to portray Kabaddi champion in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next

Kangana Ranaut who has established herself in the film industry with her acting skills has bagged many versatile roles. The 'Queen' actress is playing the role of a real queen this time. She is portraying Rani LaxmiBai in the movie 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. Kangana is also sharing screen space with 'Rajkumar Rao', her co-star from movie 'Queen' in 'Mental Hai Kya'. The list of her upcioming projects doesn't end here. She will be seen playing the role of a Kabaddi player in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's next.

Shooting of the movie is slated to begin in October but Kangana has plans to start it earlier. She is also allotted a time of 15 days in August to understand and learn more about the sport. Director of this movie Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari wants Kangana to get trained properly and is searching for someone who can teach her tactics of Kabaddi.

Kangana is also reported of practising 'Yoga' which will be beneficial for her character. The movie is based on a Kabaddi champion. She will also be learning the crocodile hold and wrist catch along with going on some transformation in her physic to look more like kabaddi player. In 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Kangana has shown that she can play the role of an athlete but this movie will portray her as a Kabaddi champion which requires much hard work.

The actress herself is said to make her directorial debut soon where she will be seen playanng a octogenarian. Kangana is all set to entertain the audience with her versatile characters in different movies. Having faced many barriers and criticism she has established herself in Bollywood.

The release date of her upcoming movies is not yet revealed by the filmmakers. Currently she is shooting for 'Mental Hai Kya?' in London. She is also spotted with her nephew 'Prithvi Raj' these days who is the son of her sister 'Rangoli'.
