Kangana Ranaut And Director Anurag Basu To Reunite For A Film A Film Called Imali

Kangana Ranaut is one the most in-demand actresses in the Bollywood industry. Kangana's Queen movie made her a superstar in the industry and she also won many awards and recognition for the same. In 2005, filmmaker Anurag Basu spotted Kangana Ranaut and cast her in the hit emotional drama, Gangster in 2006. They worked once again in Kites in 2010.

The latest reports suggest that the duo is all set to work on a new project starting this December. Kangana and Anurag will reunite for a film that has been titled, Imali.

Talking to a leading daily she said, "It's too early to talk about Imali as we are starting the film around the end of the year. All I can say is that Anurag is my godfather and everything I am today is because of him… I can't wait to go back to the beginning."

Kangana has quite an interesting line up of movies in the future. She will soon be seen playing the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in the movie Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi. The movie is a rare attempt in Bollywood to tell the tale of bravado of Jhansi's queen's fight against the British Raaj. Kangana has also started shooting for Balaji Telefilms' Mental Hai Kya. She will be at her quirky best in this movie. She will start shooting for the one with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari in October. The movie will be a drama based on the backdrop of Kabaddi. After finishing which she will move on to the above mentioned, Imali.

The news daily also reported that no male lead has been finalised for Imali and the hunt is still on. Earlier rumours of Kangana Ranaut and Shah Rukh Khan working together in a film were viral but no official confirmation was made by representatives of both the actors.
