Kajol starrer ‘Helicopter Eela’ to hit screens on September 7

Well-known beauty Kajol is ready to make a comeback to the silver screen with her forthcoming movie named Helicopter Eela.

The multi-talented actress started promotions in the city of London and also revealed a poster of the movie that boasts of the tagline, ‘She is here, there and everywhere.’

Helmed by Pradeep Sarkar, the film is based on the tale of a single mom and a wishful singer who makes big sacrifices and gives up her big dream only to raise her kid.

A controlling and domineering mother, Eela also become part of her son's college and confronts criticism for encroaching upon her son's privacy.

Ajay Devgn the producer of the film said, “I was drawn to the story of this loving but difficult relationship between a mother and son. The script told a beautiful story, of a journey that all parents face, but it is especially true and unique to mothers and their sons. The characters played by Kajol and Riddhi Sen are extremely strong and they will have an astonishing connect with the audience across the globe.”

Earlier, the movie got to hit screens on September 14, 2018, but at the moment, the makers have changed the release date to September 7.

The actress also shared the new poster and the release date of the flick on her personal Insta handle.

Talking about her character, the actress stated, “As a mother, I felt a real connection with Eela’s character. She loves her son unconditionally and has built her life around him. But as he grows up, she finds herself becoming more and more dispensable. She has also put her life and dreams on hold, like so many mothers do.”

Director Pradeep Sarkar said, “The story of Helicopter Eela will make you fall in love with this mother-son duo! Hope the audience enjoys the film as much as we enjoyed making it.”

She captioned the image as, “Fooled you... coming on 7th September now #MomsRock.”

The movie also has National honour winning actor, Riddhi Sen who will be witnessed donning the role of Kajol’s son. The movie also features Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Chowdhary.
