Actor K.K. Goswami has gone onto become a popular TV star with his wonderful talent and acting skills. He started his career with the television show ‘Shaktiman’ in 1997. He who is by birth a dwarf also played pivotal roles in Indian television shows like CID, Vikraal aur Gabraal and Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai.
However, very few people know that the 44-year old actor belongs to a small village in Bihar and had to go through a lot of suffering in order to become what he is today.
In an interview, Goswami said that not only he is a dwarf, but his younger brother is also a dwarf like him. After the news spread around the village, a local circus came to meet the actor’s father to offer the actor a position.
The circus offered to pay Rs. 50,000 on custody of K.K. Goswami to them. This happened when the actor was around 10 to 12 years old. His father, however, denied the offer saying that his son will never work in a circus.
Dwarf actor Goswami rose to fame as a popular small screen actor
The actor who is 3-feet also had troubles during his wedding as his in-laws not approved him because of his short height. Nevertheless, his wife Pinku went against them and was determined to get married to him at that time.
The actor is one of the finest actors among dwarfs. He has created his own identity with his outstanding acting skills. He never was away from the small screen until last one year. He took a small break from acting since last one year for some unknown reasons.
The actor is a favourite for many children, not for being a dwarf, but for being a good actor. He rose to fame with his vital roles in various TV shows, however, he hasn’t starred in any of the movies till date. Hope we will get to see him on the big screen soon. We are sure he will receive much love on big screen as well just like he did on the small screen.
Coming to the family front, after suffering many ups and downs in life, the actor got settled down by marrying Pinku and is now a proud father of two songs. He is currently on a break from television acting. He was last seen in the television show Trideviyaan in 2017.
