It is the era of technology and there are numerous technologies which are reducing the interference of human to do a task and here is an interesting thing about autonomous cars, that is, self-driven cars.
While the world still argues about the pros and cons of driverless cars, Japan is taking a step ahead and providing a shining example of how to embrace such technology. The rules for autonomous cars in the country have now been altered, allowing more exemption to those behind the wheel of such autonomous or self-driven cars.
There is this new law passed by Japan which will allow drivers of autonomous cars in certain situations to use their smartphones, read a book, eat their lunch and even use a laptop. This law passed by Japan on freedom of such actions, however, will be restricted to certain situations like being stuck in a traffic jam.
The main conditio is the gospel that the vehicle should be able to drive itself in the situation, while the driver should be able to switch to manual immediately as the demand comes up.
The rule was published on the website of Japan’s Lower House on 28th May 2019 and will come into effect from next year. Around the time of Tokyo Olympics, the application about this has been scheduled, which is likely to take place in the country next year from July to August.
Now, here is a certain thing about this that japan will be exhibiting its technological advancement on all fronts during the world even Autonomous Technology and its factual application is still pretty much restricted to pocketed regions around the globe and now with Japan being one of them ,in time, the country will be at a position to attract a lot of interest around its autonomous industry and market thereof.
