Janhvi Kapoor Says Her Debut Film ‘Dhadak’ Will Give Strong Social Message

Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Dhadak which is the Hindi remake of Sairat. Not just her family but even fans are eagerly waiting to see the darling daughter of Sridevi onscreen.

Well, the leading actress said the film will surely give a strong social message. In the recent interview, she said, "Our film is based on a social issue. This film will give the really strong social message which is why I feel everyone should watch this film."

Janhvi also talked about audience's response to the latest released song Zingaat, she said: "I am feeling really happy that we have received a positive response for the song. I understand that most people are attached with Marathi Zingaat song but this song is very important in terms of the storyline and characters of the film"

"We had so much fun shooting that song so, I hope people will enjoy it while watching it on big screen," she added.

When she asked to share what daddy Boney Kapoor's feel for Zingaat she said: "He is very happy with the response for this song. He actually updates me that the song is trending and it has got large amount of views on various digital and social media platforms."

Well, the makers have decided to tribute this film to Janhvi's mother and actress Sridevi. According to the source, “Both producer Karan Johar and director Shashank Khaitan agree on this fact that Dhadak should be dedicated to the amazing iconic woman whose daughter makes her debut in the film.”

When Boney got to know about this he said: “Her loss is palpable to the whole nation. I realize it’s not just her family that misses her. Her fans miss her every single moment.”
