Jacqueline becomes business woman with Just*F; to roll out ‘women-first’ active wear on July 17

Well known Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez joined hands with Mojostar to roll out a line of ‘women-first’ active wear on July 17.

The actress said that the newly introduced active wear can be worn while going to a bar as well as fitness center.

She bagged her first assignment came from Bahrain at the age of 14 and she become TV presenter during a concert.

She also worked as a journalist in her mother country Sri Lanka after finishing her graduation, and switched to modeling before turning out to be a full-time actress.

Jacqueline became Miss Sri Lanka Universe during the year 2006 and then tuned out to be the charming leading lady in Bollywood.

Now the beauty queen wished to put on a new hat with Just*F, a “women-first” active-wear brand.

“I found something missing that had a direct impact upon me. I found nothing that was specifically designed for the modern, active, and stylish Indian woman. What was available were generic pink knock-offs of products for men,” she said.

Just*F is the actress’s take to overpass this gap.

She talks about Just*F just a few weeks before the launch, as active wear, which is stylish and unabashedly womanly.

“Our stylish athleisure offerings are designed to better suit the Indian female body in terms of construction and sizing, and are centred on colours, silhouettes, and prints that can make fitness fun, sporty, versatile, and feminine,” she stated.

But the major disparity between Just*F and its competitors is that her brand is not manly styles converted into female style by putting in a dash of color here, a frivolous flounce there or other minor changes.

“The reason Just*F is different is because most competing offerings are still defined by aggressive male paradigms. Activewear, for them, is mostly for men. Their ranges for women are just smaller versions of the same products for men, without any effort being applied to make them more appealing to women and their needs. Just*F, on the other hand, has been designed for the trendy and confident women of today, keeping their specific requirements and sensibilities in mind,” Jacqueline added.

Just*F is headquartered in the city of Mumbai. The special product range will get rolled out by July together with the Just*F website.

The starting range of the special attires will be priced between Rs 1,000 and Rs 3,000.  Targeting consumers between the age brackets of 20 and 35 years, the new brand will eventually shifted to footwear, gym bags, and fitness accessories.
