Few days back, a video emerged from the Ranaghat Station in West Bengal, in which we can see an unknown talented singer singing the super hit number, "Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai."
The song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar for the movie "Shor", which was released in the year 1972. The female who was singing the special number instantly grabbed the attention of everyone as her song was uploaded on the internet and it went viral.
The lady is named Ranu Mondal and she really stunned everyone with her sweet and melodious voice and her song was recorded by a Facebook user. He shared it on the internet, which led to tremendous response from different parts.
About Ranu Mondal
As per reliable resources, Ranu Mondal was born in Krishnanagar and she spent most of her childhood days at her aunt's house in Ranaghat, as she lost her mother at a younger age. After that, she came to Mumbai along with her husband to earn a living, but had to return to Ranaghat after almost a decade due to depression.
The song that Ranu Mondal sung has become so popular by now and a singing reality show indeed invited Ranu to perform on their show.
She also underwent a high level of transformation at a parlour before appearing on the stage. The people at the parlour also shared the pictures of Ranu's transformation.
She made her presence felt at the reality show and interacted with the contestants. Singer Himesh Reshammiya was very much impressed by her talent and he was one of the judges of the show.
After seeing Ranu performing at the music reality show, he even offered her a song for one of his upcoming film named "Happy Hardy and Heer," which stars Sonia Mann.
Later, Himesh said that Salman Khan's father Salim had always advised him that whenever he happens to come across a talented person in his life, he should never let him go.
