Indore will observe 6500 sweepers on leave today while Mayor and others will sweep

On the occasion of Goga Navami, the corporation will not have the Door to Door Trash Collection System.

In Indore, the festival of Goga Navami Festival has already started on Tuesday night. Because of this, 6500 municipal corporation employees will be on leave.

Indore Municipal Corporation has said that cleanliness of the city will not be affected even after the cleaning workers stay on leave. On Wednesday, more than 1000 members of NGOs including the mayor will take over the responsibility of sweeping sweeps in their hands.

The Corporation has prepared a plan for the cleaning system to not be affected. Under the scheme, cleaning of the city by sweeping over 1,000 people of mayor, councillor, corporation officer, NGO and the private sector in the hands. The clean up plan will be prepared by Tuesday night.

Door-to-door garbage collection will also be done. Corporations say that, despite the cleanliness workers staying on leave, an effort will be made to maintain the cleanliness system. Door-to-Door Garbage Collection will be done by over 250 employees of NGOs. Mayors, councillors will start cleaning from Rajbada.

Along with 300 employees of ICICI Bank, 250 employees of the Swastika firm will go for cleaning on city roads on Wednesday. Companies have also notified the corporation in this regard. Simultaneously, employees of IT companies located in IT Park will also contribute to cleanliness.

The Mayor, councillor and others will sweep the streets for the sake of cleaning. It is a matter of fact that this campaign should not be left as a mere pretence. During such events, it is often seen that before the arrival of a leader, the dirt of the respective area is cleared. And the leader is just holding a broom in his hand photographed the cleaning while others actually cleaned the area.
